2 Day Anzac Tours Overview

Day One: Istanbul to Gallipoli – Guided Tour of Gallipoli

Our team members will wait you at the meeting point. We will notify you meeting time before your arrival flight. This notify will include your tour guide and tour manager names and contact details, exact location via whatsapp. After every guest has been there we will board the coach and move for Gallipoli. Our coach has a screen which you can watch a documentary about Gallipoli. With this opportunity you can imagine what happened 107 years ago.

Turkey, Australia and New Zealand are the one who prepare this commemorations days for who want to remember their elders. This meaningful day will be conducts on Anzac Cove. Dawn Service is held on early in the morning therefore we need to hurry to get a good spot.

Overnight: Anzac Cove

Day Two: ANZAC Day (Gallipoli to Istanbul)

When first light of sunrise starts to rises you will start your Anzac Day tours with Dawn Service. You will feel what your thousands of elders 107 years ago. When Dawn Service done you will move to visit various sites for different commemoration moments. Our first destination will be Lone Pine for Australian Service then Chunuk Bair for New Zealand service. End of the Commemoration services your proffesional tour guide will collect you to move Eceabat. When you arrive to Eceabat there will be little rest time for you. As we mentioned in first day chapter if you want you can continue your journey from Eceabat with ferry to Canakkale. Or you can continue with your proffesional tour guide to meeting point where we start to our tour. If you choose to return meeting point you will arrive there at the evening.

Be aware important information: This 2 Day Anzac Day tour isn’t include accommodation. Overnight of first day you will stay at Anzac Cove. Don’t get much luggage with you. If you want you can leave your luggage in coach. It will be safe and locked during the night. But don’t forget you can’t access your luggage till end of the commomeration services. And also for staying Anzac Cove bring sleeping bags, blankets and warm clothes. Even bringing wet weather jacket will be your benefits.

Question: My friends have already booked for 2023 Anzac Day Tours with you and I would now like to be with them. Is this possible?

Answer: If you provide your demand as soon as possible then we will do our best to accommodate you. However if you make a booking close to Anzac Day then we may have already allocated hotels and bus groups. Once again we will do our best to accommodate you but we cannot make any promises but please ask so we can check it out for you.

Question: Do the prices quoted include Entrance Fees to sites visited and is their any local payment component for these tours?
Answer: There is no local payment that needs to be paid unless outlined in the itineraries.
Question: What time do I need to arrive on the starting day of my tour?

Answer: Except “2 Day Anzac Day Tour” all of our tours’ first day arrival day and its for relaxing from your tiredful flight.
Q. I am booked your 2 Day Anzac Tour and want to know where the pick up and drop off points are in Istanbul.
A. The 2 Day Anzac Tour starts on the 24th April and all customers will informed about meeting time and exact point before their flight therefore you don’t need to worry about it.
Q: I am travelling alone and was wondering if you have many people who travel alone on your tours? Also what are my options for accommodation?
A: Every year we have many guest (both male and female) travel alone on our Anzac Day tours and it is a great way to meet new people. If you want you can stay single room but it will cost extra but if its not problem to share your room (same gender) it will be lower rate.Please note that this is subject to availability.
Q. How many people will be on my tour?
A. It depends on the number of people on your particular tour but a group will be no larger than 40 people.
Q: Which currency do I need for Turkey and do I need to Exchange Money before leaving home?
A. The most common currency in Turkey is the TL (Turkish Lira) although other currencies are accepted in some shops and restaurants. We recommend for ease that you use the local currency when paying in cash but you can purchase many things on credit cards also. We advise all our passengers to carry some cash on them at all times for small purchases and paying for public toilets etc. You may like to check with your bank before leaving home if your card is ready for international use.
Q. Do we need to give our guides and driver a tip at the end of the tour?
A. Tipping isn’t included to tour payment but its a big part of life in Turkey and the cost of your tour does not include any tips or displays of gratitude towards guides and coach drivers. If you have enjoyed your tour and the efforts of these people then please feel free to give them a tip. The amount is entirely up to you and usually one person will collect these on behalf of the people in your group.
Q. I want airport transfer service can you arrange for me?
A. If you let us know earlier your request we will happy to help you about your arrival and departure transfer services. 1-4 people one way service price is 75$ and 4-8 people is 100$.
Q. How to prepare to attend Anzac Day Commomeration?
A. PLEASE BRING:
* Wet weather jacket and pants
* Warm blanket
* Comfortable, sturdy walking shoes
* Warm, thermal clothing, jacket, beanie, hat or cap, gloves, scarf
* Food / snacks
* Drinking water
* Torch
* Prescription medications (if necessary)
* Sunscreen
* Camera
* A small day pack may be useful to carry these items.
PLEASE DO NOT BRING:
(The following items are prohibited in the commemorative areas)
* Large backpacks
* Camping equipment
* Weapons or sharp objects
* Flammable liquids
Alcohol Intoxicated persons will be refused entry
