Thank you for booked with us. On the tour date and meeting time your tour guide will met you at meeting point in Kusadasi Port. You will recognise him/her by your name. He/she will keep a file on his/her hand written your name on it. Once you met with your tour guide he/she will take you to your tour vehicle and your journey will starts.
First you will visit an ancient city “Miletus”, which located near the mouth of the Buyuk Menderes (Known as Meander) River. In that glourious time Miletus owed its importance because of the position on the trade routes. It was known as one of the largest cities in Anatolia in that era with a population around 100.000. Philosophers Anaximander, Anaximenes and Thales, the town planner Hippodamus and architect Isidorus were from this ancient city. The city was then controlled in turn by the Persians, Roman and Seljuk Turks. The next destination will be Didyma. The word Didyma meant “twins” and it was associated by some as being the meeting place of Zeus and Leto to have their twins Apollo and Artemis. Didyma was famed as a prophecy center dedicated to Apollo, which served a similar purpose as the Delphi of Anatolia.
After visiting Miletus and Didyma, your journey will continue by visiting Temple of Artemis. Which known as one of the wonders of 7 Ancient wonders. You will amazed by this temple’s superiority and be charmed. Your tour guide will explain about its history and importance with information and stories.
When you done visiting Temple of Artemis, one of the other important place in this region will wait you. The Ruins of Magnificient Ancient City Ephesus! You will explore the ancient Odeon, Temple of Hadrian, Roman baths, Celcus Library and Theatre. This theatre is still active for activities but only with official request. And this theatre’s capacity is around 25.000 people. You will notice how was rich this city by paved with marble streets.
Once the tour has finished some free time for shopping facilities and lunch then you will be returned to the Port of Kusadasi.
